The fact that I can conveniently cut into pieces bones withbease

Good size and weight,
Iβve started cooking whole chicken for a traditional cultural dish. It requires a good bone cleaver. This is a good balance weight, felt comfortable in a petite hand grip. Struggles with the chunkier bones, maybe thatβs my insufficient force. The blade nearer the handle is better for those. Still happy with it as does the job and decent value for money.

Great product
I didn't know about Japanese or any decent kitchen knives until I bought this. It lets even a klutz like me chop onions, potatoes, carrots, garlic, even bread, easily and like a pro (yes, I've learned the chef 101 onion-dicing skill, it's easy). I never use my old nicer dicer any more, since this is quicker and more convenient, and I can dice more small with this. Even hard veggies like carrots are a breeze. I run under tap, wipe dry with microfiber cloth and put into protective guard when finished. Ever few uses I use a cheap sharpener, which I probably shouldn't but it hasn't harmed the knife. Protective guard is a MUST, I bought it separately.
